Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, Ugo, considering where you're from, but you are a true Romantic! One of the things I like when I stop by Ms D's place here is seeing what new art in images or words you've created for her. Bravo! Bravissimo, Ugo!

Hi Ugo! Sorry for the late reply, but I haven't been around for a few days. Thanks for the comments--oh for the love of wisdom, grand Sophia herself! No worries about philosophizing--I'm known to do it every so often myself . Have a great day, my friend! Cheers--

I appreciate from You a river of comments, history, culture. I am embarrassed from You. I would have so much to learn from You. A man that tells so many things is a good of help of friendship for whoever he listens to You.
Mine is different. But I am full of my same love: the sweetness and the respect. Hard to bear my walk on a platform to risk. Excuse if I speak as a philosopher.

When your alone, Ugo, you learn to appreciate the simpler things in life and not take so much for granted. I think you know what I mean there from all I've read of your words, and seen of your art. Danielle has created a place for kindred spirits to come and share, I think, and to appreciate. Cheers, my friend

Those photos of "welcome to my little world" are your sweet world. But I also tell of my world of solitary life from romantic man.

    Hello Ugo--

I haven't been around for a few days, so I thought I'd stop by and say "Hi".

    Cheers!

Giancarlo did a movie back 14 or so years ago here in the US about 45 minutes away from where I lived. The movie co-starred Keanu Reeves and was filmed at a winery in St. Helena, California. My mom loves that movie, A Walk in the Clouds, but I love Mimi more (and I watch it in Italian, but with subtitles!).

Interesting your lesson on the romanticism on some known actors (great Giancarlo Giannini!!!! Has made some movies in USA). I think that more amusing it is Charlie Chaplin (Charlot). At times I am alike me to him. "When the love is beautiful if it is sweet poverty."

Sorry, Ugo, I had to go check on lunch (minestrone--mmmmmm!). When I was in high school (I think that's secondary school for you), I took Spanish for three years. When I was in university, I studied European history, mostly British, but also some Italian, French & Spanish. I used to try reading French, Italian and Spanish Encyclopaedias as well, so I understand, I think, your desire to read & write in English. It shows a strong character, I think. And as for which nation produces the more romantic men, Italy, France or Spain, all I can say is that I love watching Giancarlo Gianini as much as I love watching Gerard Depardieu (The sEduction of Mimi is one of my favourite films, closely followed by Cyrano de Bergerac--only a truye romantic could play the lead!). Until next time, my friend!
