Thank you for the thank you, Ms D, and you are most welcome. I admit, my handwriting can be difficult to read (especially when I'm using one of my good pens--something comes over me using a good writing instrument, whether my Parker fountain pen or my AT Cross). Then again, my handwriting I noticed has gotten more and more "free" over the years--the more time I spent in school the more I realized how much I didn't know, and at the same time the more I realized I didn't know, the more my penmanship suffered, I guess you could say. I think I've learned to spend more time writing using a keyboard rather than a pen or pencil, so those skills they hammer into you from kindergarten through h.s. have atrophied. I'd promise to try and do better, but there's a bit o' Quaker in me, so the most I can do is next time I will slow down a little more and try my best to write legibly (). Anyway, I did have misgivings about the chocolate, since I know you want to watch your figure (don't we all! ), but I know that you're responsible, and figure you could use it a little to make hot chocolate (the old fashioned way with chocolate and hot milk), or grate some over some ice cream or frozen yoghurt. Its the only chocolate out there that I'd risk eating (and my mom works for See's, too, and I'd much rather have SF Chocolate with sun-dried cacao beans, cocoa liqueur and so on (none of that corn syrup stuff). Anyway, I figured you were worth a couple slabs (of course you are, duh!), and when I saw it, and I don't see it around very often, I snapped them up just for you. I am glad they got to you safe and sound. And you have a great day, too!

My favourite Storm song comes from the Storm, Inc CD (lotsa luck finding it nowadays!) is "Dying Town". Kinda bittersweet but with a glimmer of hope in there. What can I say though? I adore strong, independent women who follow their own paths and are able to overcome whatever gets in their path. And yeah, she's a bit punky, too. Reminds me of someone else, now who was it ...?

She's cute....kind of has a Pink-Courtney Love rocker thing going on. Very pretty voice too...kind of a reminds me of Sheryl Crow a little bit.

Its not what's Storm Large, but who is Stormy. She's one of my absolute favourite singers, hands down. Her name really is Storm (its her middle name). Her band (now) is Storm and the Balls--they play at the Sweetwater in Mill Valley Calif, and Dante's in Portland. I've been a fan of hers since she fronted Storm, Inc. (love that CD!). You can, if you desire, check out her website at http://www.stormlarge.com/ If only i could go back in time, I'd love to have seen her play the Sweetwater which was just 40 minutes away from where I lived ...c'est la vie ...

Portland OR? That's where Storm Large lives! And, if I had my druthers, that's where I'd live, too. Mt. Hood, the Pac NW, Sasquatch--trees, mountains, the ocean, everything. Sure you might have the odd tsunami or lava flow, but I'm living roughly 3 miles on top of a lava dome now and deal with the odd quake, and while Tahoe is lovely, and Mt. Rose is nice, I don't think they could compare with Portland. Besides, they have Foster's Honey up there, I think, I hope. Anyway, I hope you have a great time up in Bigfoot country! Until later, bon voyage, Ms D (hope you're feeling better, too ...). PS--I'm envious!
