Quick trivia, Addamses v. Munsters. (BTW, I never saw the Munsters until I was in my late 20s or early 30s). Carolyn Jones (Morticia) was an 8th cousin 1x of Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster); Fred was a 7th cousin 3x of Pat Priest (Marilyn Munster); Marilyn was a 9th cousin 2x of Carolyn, and a 10th cousin 1x of Jackie Coogan (Fester). I guess in a world as big and twisted as ours it was inevitable that the Addamses & Munsters would be related. Anyway have a good day.

There was an Addams Family cartoon??!! Where the heck was I? Whelp, that's it, my life is ruined now ... Game over, man, game over ...! (). The only Addams cartoon I remember seeing was when they met Scooby-Doo. Ah, those were the days, riding along Hwy 1 from Half Moon Bay to Sta Cruz, watching the surfers & elephant seals, listening to The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and CSN on AM radio ...uh oh, got sentimental for my childhood again. C'est la vie, que sera sera (dang, now I got Sly Stone in the brain!). Anyway, have a good night's sleep, and have a great shoot manana and next week .

I just saw something you wrote me & I just have to say this: I am so, so sorry, Ms D! You poor, poor young woman! To have gone 20 years in this life and not to have seen the original Addams Family TV shows? Oh my dear, sweet Lord ... . Oh, gotta go--Uncle Fester's calling and wants to play with his blasting caps! Oh, goody!!!!

Mmmm...well unfortunately it doesn't look like I will be getting any rest the day after tomorrow since I will probably also have a shoot that day in Wickenburg (another two hour drive.)

Let's see ...you spent how many hours in a plane after spending how many days in the sun with your adrenaline pumping? You had a change in climate, at least going from a tropical place to a desert, so that's got to have an impact. Whatever it is, I hope you get some rest, drink plenty of water or juice, and then have a great shoot (unless its better to say "break a leg", then bust a tibia, fibula or femur), and when you get home if you can, just kick back in your pajamas and kick back. Sorry you didn't get a Dole Whip this time (seriously--they sound fan-freakin'-tastic--I've been looking for something like that ever since you told me about them). Hasta la vista, Ms D! Hawaii was great. Unfortunately I didn't get a Dole Whip (because no place that we went to had any) but it was still great nonetheless. Though...I'm a little sick right now. Don't know if it's food poisoning or if I got something on the plane ride home. Hopefully I get better soon because I have a photoshoot tomorrow in Tucson which is 2 hours away. I love the Addams Family, btw. But I only really got to see the movies, not the actual tv show.

Welcome back, Ms D. I assume you had a Dole Whip, or two, hmm? I have to say, if you did, I'm envious! A month ago, I'd never heard of one, now I can;t get 'em out of my head! Anyway, I voted today, just about an hour ago (whoo-Hoo! & Boo-yeah!), had an interesting weekend of my own (good stuff I'll PM you about maybe tomorrow), switched back to that old family tree program I use (but am keeping the new one to work out those relationships), had Sarah here today, while Joe's in my hometown in CO today (yippie to one, grrr to other other--I'll leave it to you to figure out which is which ). Anyway, I haven;t been here except very briefly on Sat before I went to a fashion event (one of the good things), but didn't realize the time & had to log off in just a minute or so, but I did do some of that 6 degrees of ...genealogy stuff yesterday while watching The Addams Family (I model myself on two guys--Santa & Uncle Fester--the white is really coming in nice in my beard & temples!). Charles Addams, the cartoonist, was a 9th cousin of Christopher Lloyd; Addams was also a 9th cousin 1x of Carolyn Jones. Jones was a 10th cousin 1x of Anjelica Huston, while Lloyd is a 9th cousin 3x of Huston; Jackie Coogan was a 10th cousin 2x of Carolyn Jones, so Coogan & Jones, co-stars were kin, Jones & Huston, playing the same part a few decades apart were kin, and the first Morticia and the second Fester were both kin to the creator of The Addams Family. I've said it before, and I'lll say it again, this is a weird world we live in, and I wouldn;t have it any other way. Now, however, I have to go play with my blasting caps & crash my model trains!
