Hey ya WhyYou, sorry for the delay--so far this year could be best described as The Dude Lebowski put it, "you, ups & downs, strikes & gutters"; IOW, same as usual, but that's not so bad. Hope this year stays strong for you, amigo--

So far my new year is going fantastically!! I got enough Christmas money from my sisters and mom to buy myself a new dvd player (the on that's part of my TV died a while ago) and a rack to hold all my dvds and videos, plus some new dvds. Laranger sent me 3 dvds, two of which I have wanted to buy ever since I first saw the movies on TV several years ago. Then just before Christmas and just after Christmas I got college loan disbursement checks so I was able to pay off some old medical bills, buy 3 pieces of new software (Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, and MS Office 2007) at greatly reduced student prices (I saved over $1000 in total), and buy another memory card as well as a USB 2.0 hub. This is the first time in many years that I was able to get myself some Christmas presents. I have also received another college loan disbursement check which I have yet to deposit. So I made out like a bandit...lol!

I'll do a search whenever I see a new thread that I think may have been posted before. If I come up with repeats threads or even one(s) that are very similar then I'll merge the threads together. It makes for less confusion on the message board.

I had the young ones, as usual, but for a very long day (I'm still going right now--a 12-hour-plus day), so I set my computer up running AVG, defragged using AusLogics & ran Glary Utilities this morning after updating (before they came over). BTW, I had to double-0check, but we did have a tech thread I guess I started way, way back--it was on page 3 or 4 of the General Discussions line. I'd completely forgotten about that until I saw your message. Not too surprising though, considering who you're talking to (). Have a good evening, WhyYou & cheers!
