Yep...that's what happened to me the first time around at college.

Glad to see your tweet last PM about getting home. Also glad that you're back in school, taking some mind-stretching things before hitting hard in next semester (tip: always give yourself at least 1 course each semester for fun, even if it knocks off a GE req.-kill 2 birds with one stone). I burned myself out a few times, took extended periods off, and didn't give myself those fun courses--it was all business knocking off GE reqs & focusing on my major. I shoulda taken more time & enjoyed the experience ...c'est la vie, no use crying (sniffle).

Next semester is going to be really difficult for me (this one should be a peace of cake.) I am planning on taking all my pre-med required classes like math and science at a community college (smaller classes and more one on one time) and then saving the electives for ASU where they will have a lot bigger selection. I'm also probably going to try testing out of any English and reading classes and pretty much any other class I can test out of.

Fancy meeting you here, sort of. First time in a long time that I've actually been on the board at the same time as you. As always, I sincerely hope all is going well with you (i.e., you're not stretching yourself too thin). School begins Mon for you, too, I think. Interesting course selection. I was all business ticking off GE req. one by one, using them as my electives (I was on a mission). Rather wish I'd taken a breath now and taken something funner at least once a year rather than anthro this, psych that, and so on (even though I did enjoy those classes, too). Anyway I'm tired, weird tonight (had the li'l one most of the day--she was wicked fun, dancing to Abba, Nellie Furtado & Fergie most of the afternoon!). Anyway, paz!
