I remember Jim Henson, although I don't remember any sketches..course nowadays I barely remember yesterday..my lack of memory is more of a blessing than a curse.

Same here it has been quite a while since I have watched. Do you remember the Jim Henson characters I always liked his sketches. The might favog (sp) is the only character name I came remember.

I remember the first season as well..I used to love that show, but haven't watched it much for years..The new folks aren't quite as funny in my opinion. I have been staying pretty busy so far, but never sure how long it will last..I was down 25-30 % last year, but alot of it was my fault..took at least 2 months off over the year..gonna do the same this year too..

There have been a lot of good comedian that got their start on SNL. I can remember watching during its first season. Of course back then a person only got 3 or 4 channels on the tv so there wasn't much to choose from. Chevy Chase, Gilder Radner, Jane Curtian, Gart Morris, Steve Martin, John Belushi just to name a few. I bet the youngster wouldn't recognize half of the names. I have been busy at work its our busiest time of the year. How about you are you staying busy in this econmy?
