I lived in New Orleans 12-13 years. The first hurricane that we ran from we ended up in a run down motel in Ms. and to add insult to injury Ms. got more rain from the hurricane than NO. Last hurricane that we ran from.

I guess the rainy weather is from ts Bonnie. I am glad to see that she made landfall while still a tropical storm and seems to have "petered out" by Sunday morning with little or no real property damage. Just another rainy day for native Floridans I guess!
