You should've striked him back Ugo. You need to start standing up for yourself. Show your colleagues that you will not put up with the way they treat you. You are a great and amazing person and they need to realize that.

Quote from Journal Replies: "I live far. I can ever meet Danielle. My misfortune to be Italian."

Hi my friend, you're not alone. I'm also living too far off to have a realistic chance to meet Danielle.
But who knows what will happen? On one of her next trips to Europe she might also go to South Italy or Northern Germany. I sure would try to meet her.
I would take off a week or two, to drive her around, if she would let me.

Hi Ugo! Just passing by and thought I'd just say hi as a random act of kindness to you! Hope you're feeling better, friend. Cheers!

Hi, Ugo, sorry I didn't realize you had answered so quickly the other day. New Years here happened 19 hours, 37 minutes ago (I think I did my math right). I don't usually do much--I was asleep by about 10PM last night, and then did the laundry today. I spent most of the day, however, trying to rest. My energy has been ebbing a lot lately, maybe because my nieces have been in California visiting relatives for the past week (I miss them). Most of the time I watch them, and so when they're with me, I'm always "Uncle Silly," whether I want to be or not. When I don't have them, I go to my more natural state or try to just decompress and spend a lot of time letting the things that bother me drift away (hence me advice to you, even though it doesn't always work even for me). To be honest, days like these I'd much rather be at the Shambhala Center at Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, near where I used to camp at least 1 weekend every season, winter included (Sometimes we'd even use a sled on skis to get to the campsite over the snow). I am hoping that this year will bring you and everyone else more peace of mind and contentment of body, both at home with our families and at work. Take care of yourself, my friend--peace!
