The echoes occur when you hit the start button on the webcam page more than once.

If you experience an echo, click the stop button repeatedly until the echo disappears or completely reload the page. Click on the start buton only once.

on Wednesday, the webcam was cut off by poor internet connection so I was wondering if the webcam show for 05-04-11 is working properly. I know for a fact that parts "23" and "24" were working ok. But the last cam show wasn't working. (towards the end of the show.)

Audio Problems During WebCam
 

Was anyone else having audio problems at the webcam show yesterday? Between the noise from the AC unit and an echo chamber/reverb effect I had a lot of trouble understanding what Danielle was saying.

Danielle would it be possible for you to wear a small clip on mic during your clothed scenes?

I heard no noise from the AC (at least not overly loud) and no echo either.
That echo usually comes from hitting the Start button on the left more than once. I made it a habit to first click on Stop before clicking on Start and haven't gotten any echo problems since.

While a clip on microphone would surely enhance our experience, it would be quite a hassle for Danielle ...

Uh...the mic is on my laptop...it's not external. I don't really know about that.

I remembered your hint about hitting Stop, but it didn't seem to help. And I agree that a clip on mic would be a hassle as soon as she took her clothes off. But this last web cam was the worst I've experienced. The only time I could understand her was when she was up close to the lap top. The built in mics pick up sound from 360 degrees, when she was sitting back her voice was lost, for me anyway.

Oh well it was just a thought.

If you watch any "reality shows" like MTV's Real World you will see the cast often wears what looks like necklaces but are, in fact, microphones. The cords run down their backs to the battery/antenna pack. I'm sure Danielle would still look beautiful wearing a "necklace microphone!":D

I just watched the archived 8/29 Webcam. Will read the transcript when it posts as participant Member comments do not show. Apparently there was a mean one & I'm curious.

I thought it was neat having James on, though a bit surprising. His sharing and perspectives added to Danielles helped broaden the dialogue and info about the topics. If he wasn't there to expose her breasts...well, who knows what might not have happened! :rolleyes:

Camshow Archive Low Quality?

I really like the Camshow Archive but the Videos are soooo low Quality.Would be so awesome if you can provide them in better Quality.Cannot really see something.I also noticed the streams are extremly big for that quality.With that size they should be normally 720p or 1080i.Something is really wrong there.

To be perfectly honest I'm not sure what to do about that. I use my laptop (it's easy to move around and already has a built in webcam). I tried using an external webcam with the laptop but it didn't work. I can use an external webcam with my desktop pc but then I wouldn't be able to move that around at all.
