The future of the adult porn Industry will be 3D

Hello everyone...

Few days ago I have received by mail a catalog of B&H a supplier of Audio, Video & Photo equipment ...interestingly I found the new Panasonic 3D HD Camera.

I really believe in 5 years from now all the XXX content will be shot and seen in 3D!
Obviously it will take some time before everybody starts shooting in 3D and when most of users will adapt 3D Monitors on their PCs

Imagine how live and real the experience will be, Imagine to be able to see the FTV Girls in 3D, it will be like Paradise on Earth! :)

What you guys think?

Here is the link to the cam.

Don't think so really at $21,000 plus on a made to order basis, this market has a very long way to go, 10 years at the very minimum. Recent studies have shown that at least 20% of the population cannot actually see 3D on film or TV so ramping costs up further.

Personally think waste of time and money. Let's perfect 2D market before trying too hard with 3D.

On the last CeBit I visited, an exhibition primarily for Information Technology that got penetrated by more and more multimedia in the last years, I actually saw 3D consumer cameras - and that was before the hype about Avatar kicked in. I can only imagine what the camera manufacturers have in their drawers right now.

Taylor Vixen mentioned this briefly on her podcast with Lux Kassidy. I did see an image of Capri Anderson shot in 3D however it cannot be seen in 3D unless you have a 3D screen, and I think you still need the glasses. From what the girls said, and how they said it was shot, it sounds really expensive, and I don't know if the industry can afford to do that.

I think I may be one of the 20%.

Cost is allways high when technology is new, but usually it comes down when it matures. I think when it becomes more widespread in the general entertainment industry you will see a lot of semi-pro (which is what I would consider the porn industry to be) content being produced.

and I'm one of the 20% that can't see in 3D, and I'm so with you on sorting out the standard videos, before going in to 3D, this is even if I could see in 3D
