Vivid Girls' contracts are up
 

Howard Levine of Pulse Distribution stated yesterday that the contracts of the three Vivid contract girls, AJ Bailey, Lia, and Savanna Samson were allowed to run out and they will not be renewed. He also said that all three have movies already shot and they will be released by Vivid.

I hope Lia finds a good situation with another company in the biz.

Well in my opinion it's Vivid's loss, are contracts not renewed decided apon the popularity of the girl?, Does anyone know?.

Not so much that I doubt you TJ but where did you hear that the 3 contracts were not being renewed?

Same here Mart definitely Vivid's loss! I certainly have no ideal how contract renewals are decided at Vivid but in this economy I suspect that it is as much cost cutting as anything.

This may be a good thing. I've already spotted Lia on another site with six new photo shoot sets. :cool:

Do you actually have any concrete proof that Lia's,Aj and Savanna's contracts aren't being renewed?, such as any links stating said actions by Vivid?. Because i failed to find anything about Vivid not renewing these girls contracts, maybe i didn't search hard enough.

Well here is my understanding of this as far as I know but this all needs to be confirmed by Lia herself. Lia was initially contracted to do 6 movies with Vivid, the details of which I have no f’ing clue only Vivid and Lia know. I would presume if both sides are happy they would agree to renew the contract.:confused:

There are another 4 movies completed in Vivid’s movie vault being edited, spliced, diced and covered in treacle. ‘Wet Sweaty Boobs' is available on 2nd August (if all goes to plan) and apart from ‘Lia’s Life POV’ I have no idea when the last 2 will be released or what the titles are. We are probably looking at early next year for them realistically. I don’t know how well Lia’s movies have done in sales figures but I assume this would be a deciding factor for Vivid if there is to be any contract renewal.

In my honest opinion I would love her to go to another company and mix it up a bit, Digital Playground, Adam & Eve, just anywhere but Vivid. I wish she’d broaden her appearances online too and do different material for other websites like other pornstars do. I don’t see why she can’t make appearances at Brazzers, Naughty America, We Live Together or something, ANYTHING else because waiting three months for another movie each time is f***ing torture. It would be good to see if another company could do something different with her but that is just my opinion. Not sure if her Vivid contract forbids her to do this but can’t see it doing any harm to her future DVD sales if she did. ;)

It would be really good if Lia would tell us what is happening and nice to know what her plans are. Maybe she hasn’t decided if she wants to continue in hardcore or what direction she wants to go in. Only time will tell but roll on 2nd August anyway.:)

Vivid is being very coy. Like radscan says, let's wait and hear from Lia herself.

I thought Lia was pretty popular on Vivid. I wouldn't expect them to not renew her contract.

Maybe if she is looking for something to do, she could come back to FTV & start up the FTVX program again for Rob...Said she wanted to be behind the camera as well & she certainly remembers the "FTV" style of doing things..:D

Lia has already filmed an FTV update, "Miko", 2007. How did that one end up?

Hmm..I haven't seen that update..perhaps I'll take a peek & see how good my idea was...:D
