You know the funny thing is I would hardly have considered myself the smartest kid in middle school (now high school was a different story...plus I was a huge teacher's pet.) I think that kid's picked on me in middle school because I was so quiet and didn't give a crap about fitting in. I had moved so much at that point that it seemed kind of worthless to try to make friends with someone when there was a huge possibility I was going to move a few months later (maybe that's one of the reasons that I am finally making friends now). I don't blame anyone for that...quiet the contrary. Moving so much helped me become more independent and more appreciative of cultures besides my own. I used to hold grudges against those kids that picked on me but within the past two years I've really gotten over it. I figure that everything I have gone through (bad and good) has made me into what I am today and wanting to change what I went through in the past would completely change who I am today.
