I had the pink eye before; second-to-last time almost 18 years ago; the last... FIVE WEEKS ago. Curiously, went away with no meds once I relaxed and chilled out; must have been stress-related low defenses.
And... no cast, but I'll have to stay off-circulation for 2 weeks, fully horizontal leg. Given that I do heavy physical duty for a living, the trauma guy barred the boot cast I asked for so I would not even think of working and leave my foot alone. Clever guy indeed.
