You might like to give your sister this book as an early birthday present: How to Survive and Maybe Even Love Nursing School: A Guide for Students by Students (2007). Its Amazon page here gives it 4.1 out of 5 stars based on 27 lay reviews. As usual, the page also lists similar books.
More important yet, before she matriculates, see that your sister reads a book like Informed Consent: The U.S. Medical Education System Explained (2011), because of the very poor vocational guidance so many young people get.
