Cool My 2 cents on getting through school - postscript

In a recent post above, I suggested consulting with a specialist clinical psychologist as a last-ditch resort for addressing your academic completion difficulties. Should you eventually want to try this and cannot get a referral through your regular physician, allow me to observe that ASU does academic (NOT "clinical") work in Educational Psychology, faculty listed here. These professors, especially the nontenured, have far more pressing uses for their time than addressing problems like yours. However, you could still try to reverently approach them to inquire about educational psychology pathology, which as best I know is sadly too little addressed. You might even propose that if they could help you identify a suitable clinical psychologist, you could say thank$ by modestly helping to fund their experimental research program (which uses modestly-paid volunteers, often college students.)
