Korn is awesome. Taproot is amazing. Killswitch Engage, totally cool. And don't even get me started on All That Remains. How about Darkest Hour? We have very similar interests in music, though I like a lot of music not just metal.

All That Remains, Taproot, Fear Factory, In Flames, Soilwork, Korn (old school stuff), Orgy, Silent Civilian, Spineshank, Mushroomhead, Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage, Opeth, Trivium.. and so on and so forth :P
