Default Fast Cars

OK, Rob's got a car that goes really, really fast... but can it fly?

The Terrafugia Transition can.

Order one here. A steal at only $194.000.

yep certainly a cool car!, although i don't know many carparks with a runway lol. Did notice he had the steering wheel tied with cord while flying, not sure why though. Could the car go off course if the wheels were free!. Anyway at $194.000, slightly out my price range for a new car.

It might be that the wind at flying speeds would turn the wheels, which would then make the carplane less aerodynamic. Also, you'd want to make sure the wheels are pointing straight ahead when you come back in to land.

Interesting car / plane. In the video you see the steering wheel was tied up during the flight of the experimental vehicle. I guess the final one would have a locking mechanism.
