An Egyptian Mau (mau is egyptian for cat) has spotted fur and an "M" noticable on its forehead. My cat is noticably part Egyptiam Mau. He has the "M", the pouch under and behind his rear legs (the pouch allows his legs to stretch out further than other cats which means that he can run MUCH faster), he has a dog-like personality (his favortie game is to play catch, he actually does bring his toy back to me and he knows "find" and "bring it"), and his tail is very articulate, especially the tip (it will wiggle much like a rattler's tail, if I put a rattle on the tail you would think you heard a snake). He does not, however, have spotted fur. He is mostly gray with white on his chest, belly, and paws.
