Oh to live in Australia!!! I WISH they would sell those here. I never knew the six was that quick. I love that new Falcon GT-P! Of course, I could settle for an old XY Phase III GT.

Get a better sports car. It it's fake, as in it's a semi-auto, which means it still has automatic transmission, and it weighs 2 tons. Dude, get a real manual, and not some fake "manual." I am a purist when it comes to transmissions, there are many other sports cars that are better such as a BMW M3, and a Honda S2000, which are both offered in a fully manual transmission, and both get much better fuel economy. I will not buy any car without fully manual transmission, unless it is free to fuel.

I understand that sports cars do not get great fuel economy, but I am saying that some would be nice, not 2 MPG. I mean come on, give me at least 10 MPG. And the car needs to lose some weight. There are good sports cars, but "good car with 2 pedals" is an oxymoron. Why? might I ask, it's fine to get a sports car, just get one in a manual, or don't drive it. This car is not as good as many other sports cars that are offered in a fully manual transmission, which are a whole lot more fun, and shift better in the hands of a skilled shifter.

I respect your opinion, but I just don't get why everyone thinks that this is the best car ever made, just because it goes fast. Speed doesn't make the best sports car.

This is my current daily driver:
But I've been looking for another 1997-2001 Mercedes 600SL as a weekend driver. But I'd prefer one with the AMG Rims and Body Styling. I loved that car and preferred the old body style to the new one. I'd LOVE a mint condition one of these: Last edited by Raymond; 05-23-2009 at 11:14 AM. |

I'm still rethinking this Honda Civic that I might get. I hear you can hit 5th gear going about 40, that is when you should be shifting into 4th. Another problem is when you get onto the interstate, your engine is going really fast, and you are out of gears. I'm not entirely sure what I'll get when I get a car, but I am still 100% sure that it will have manual transmission. I might want to go with something like an Accord, I've heard that the engine has a lower speed on the interstate. An Altima might be another possibility, because Nissan makes great transmissions. I really look at the transmission before anything else, because a good engine doesn't really mean anything if it is built on an automatic transmission, or a bad manual transmission.
