Double standards about pornography

Hey Anoree!

Yeah i think your right there! Like i said before i like porn! But to a lot of people porn is just something they wouldn't want there sons or daughters ever doing!

I guess in some parents eyes they bring there kids up and puts them through school so they can get a good education so they can find a good job in the future!

So when they find out that there son or daughter has done porn it probably will be a bit of a kick in the balls for them!

But the only thing i will say is! Because porn is so big now and so many people do get in to it! Porn is a very big business! So maybe and just maybe the parents can see it as just another career choice!

Because as we all know there is bad porn out there and there is good porn out there!

Well in my opinion i think this could a be a very tricky poll, as in all parents are different and of cause are gonna have their own views on pornography. Maybe based on their religion as well.

I didn't vote, purely because i don't have kids and i don't think i could decide either way.

I do find this thread interesting and the posts of opinions.

All I can say is that I don't plan on having kids, because I hate kids and couldn't care less. But there are people that I have to live with that have a problem with the fact that I like to look at porn. The double standard seems like it's that people might care about their daughters more than their sons. People are more protective of girls, when boys are 6 times more likely to be murdered. But back to porn, it really should depend on the type of porn that they do. Or if they are yelled at it should be because they might have a hard time getting a job (and being in porn in years past affects job performance how?)

I know alot of you guys like the FTV kind of porn but not other types like anything to do with hardcore!

I don't see that as a double standard. It's just preference. I like boy-girl but don't care for anal. It's just my preference. To call that a double standard would require labeling a lot of things as "double standards" - blonde vs. brunette, shaved vs. hairy, etc.
